Source Audio Nemesis Delay is the first serious contender for Strymon Timeline's throne. Nemesis gives you 24 different delay engines, 128 presets, stereo and MIDI connections and tap tempo. With the Neuro app (for Android and iOS you can control additional parameters, save and share settings and load more delay sounds into the pedal. Versatile expression options.

  • Controls and connections (extra controls and features available through the Neuro app:
Time: Controls delay time. If you have a multitap delay setting, Time sets the longest delay, and the rest are scaled to fit it. Delay time 1 ms - 2,6 seconds (depends on the delay engine).
Mix: Sets the mix between the dry signal and repeats. At 7 o'clock 100% dry, at 5 o'clock 100% wet signal.
Feedback: Sets the number of repeats. At 7 o'clock you will get one repeat, at 5 o'clock infinite repeats or oscillating repeats.
Mod: Sets modulation depth. Different delay engines have different kinds of modulation, including pitch, filter, tape modulation and tremolo.
Rate: Sets modulation speed. In Tape settings this control simulates tape speed.
Intensity: The actions of this control depend on the delay engine. Most delay engines have many shades available: from warm to bright, clean to distorted, thick to thin, etc. Intensity changes the color of the delay sound and helps you create different personalities for each sound.
Engine Selector: Chooses between 12 main delay engines. You can access the other 12 delay engines through the Neuro app or MIDI. You can save delay engines that are by default available through the Neuro into the pedal. Default delay engines: Slapback, Digital, Diffuse, Analog, Tape, Noise Tape, Degrade, Shifter, Helix, Reverse, Sweeper, Rhythmic. Each delay sound works in stereo. If the pedal detects a stereo connection, it creates ping-pong repeats.
Tap Tempo Subdivision: This switch adjusts the tap divisions. Options include dotted eighth and triplets. If you keep the Tap Tempo switch recessed, it will activate the Freeze mode, which creates a short loop and repeats it until you release the switch.
Presets: You can access eight presets directly through the hardware and save into those slots. All 128 memory slots are available through the Neuro app or MIDI.
    Stereo ins and outs
    MIDI in and out:
Nemesis Delay is fully MIDI controllable. Receives PC and CC commands.
Expression pedal input: You can conrol any setting or any combination of settings with an expression pedal. You can also adjust the directions of the controllable settings to your liking.
