Death By Audio Apocalypse Fuzz gives you a wide variety of different overdrive, distortion, EQ and fuzz sounds in one package. First in the signal chain is an overdrive circuit. From there on you can choose from five different options to mangle your sound. Apocalypse is also equipped with and extremely strong tone control.
- Controls:
Vol: Sets output volume level.
Drive: Sets the gain of the preamp. More distorted and fuzzy sound towards 5 o'clock. At around 7 o'clock you will get boost and overdrive.
Rotator Switch: Chooses how the signal is mangled after the preamp. Options are:
1. Twin T Scoop: Boosts bass and treble.
2. War Fuzz: Full and dynamic fuzz with clear harmonics and sustain.
3. Dual J-FET: Like War Fuzz, but the signal is driven through two J-FETs.
4. Octave Rect: Octave up.
5. Gain x 1000: Extremely high gain.
Sweepable Frequency Equalizer: Tone control for the pedal, which is designed to function as many tone controls in one. Extremely wide range. - Power Requirements: 2.1 mm 9V DC centre negative power supply or 9V battery. 6 mA.
