ZVex Vibrophase gives you the sound of ZVex's candle-powered Candela Vibrophase in a regular pedal form with a fraction of the price sinulle (6000 € vs 269 €). Vibrophase gives you different phase and vibrato sounds, which have nuances you have not heard before. Technically speaking the Vibrophase is a four-stage phaser.
- Controls:
Speed: Sets modulation speed. This control is the only digital part in the pedal, the sound is produced 100% analogically.
Vibrato/Phase: Controls the blend from vibrato (7 o'clock) to phase (5 o'clock). In between you will sounds that are combinations of vibrato and phaser.
Feedback: Feeds a part of the signal back to the beginning of the effect circuitry, where it is again fed through the four-stage phaser. Raises the effect intensity and goes over the top, if you want it.
High Bias: Affects high frequency sweep. At around 5 o'clock the sound starts to cut out, which can sound great when used in a right place.
Low Limit: Affects low frequency sweep. You can set the sound to have a lot of low-end or tune it brighter. - Power Requirements: 2.1 mm 9V DC centre negative power supply or 9V battery. 50 mA.
