JHS Pulp n' Peel V4 is a transparent compressor with a blend control. You can set the mix between compressed signal and un-compressed signal to your liking. Equipped with an XLR output in addition to a regular 1/4" output and an overdrive circuit which can be activated if needed.
- Controls:
Volume: Sets output volume level.
Comp: Sets the amount of compression.
Blend: Sets the mix between compressed and clean signals. At 5 o'clock you will only hear the compressed signal.
EQ: Tone control for the pedal. Gets brighter towards 5 o'clock.
Dirt Switch: Activates the overdrive circuit. The amount of gain can be adjusted with the trimpot found on the right side of the pedal.
Lift Switch: Small switch on the left side of the pedal. If you get hum from the XLR output, activate the Ground Lift with this switch.
Buffer Switch: Small switch on the right side, activates and deactivates the internal buffer. - Power Requirements: 2.1 mm 9V DC centre negative power supply, under 100 mA.
