Darkglass Electronics Alpha Omega gives you two different distortion circuits (Alpha and Omega) which you can blend and mix to suit your needs. Designed in collaboration with Jon Stockman of Karnivool.
- Controls:
Blend: Sets the mix between dry and distorted signals.
Level: Sets output level for the distorted signal.
Drive: Sets the amount of gain.
Mod: Sets the mix between Alpha and Omega drive circuits. Alpha is a tight overdrive with lots of punch and distinction. Omega is a distortion which is best described with words like brutal and raw.
Bass, Mid and Treble: EQ controls for the pedal. They each have the ability to boost or cut the frequency they control by 12 decibels. Frequencies for the controls are: Bass 80 Hz, Mid 500 Hz, Treble 5 kHz.
Growl: In the up position this switch activates the bass boost, which gives you a more distorted low end.
Bite: Boosts upper mids (2,8 kHz). - 2.1mm 9V DC centre negative power supply, 30 mA.
