The Clover is JHS's version of Boss FA-1 Fet Preamp, which was made famous by The Edge of U2 in the 1980's when he used it in his studio and live setup. The Clover has more EQ options and it is equipped with an XLR output. These features make The Clover an excellent preamp option for electric and acoustic guitar and bass use.

Volume: Sets output volume level.
Bass, Middle ja Treble: EQ controls of the pedal.
Low Cut: The dipswitch on the right, when On cuts low frequencies.
EQ Selector: Three-position rotator switch for choosing between three EQ settings. Options are: Full EQ, No Mids and No EQ. - XLR output which can be used to connect the pedal directly to a mixing console or a recording interface. The XLR output is also equipped with a Ground Lift, which you can enable if you encounter hum from XLR output.
