BJF Honey Bee Overdrive gives you the overdrive sound of vintage Supro amps, which were used on Led Zeppelin's first albums. Sounds and reacts just like a small tube amp with worn tubes and speaker. Special edition pedal handmade by the designer Björn Juhl himself. One of the best overdrive pedals ever made. This version is the most popular Honey Bee variant througout the years. - Controls:
Volume: Sets output volume level.
Drive: Sets the amount of overdrive. Good starting point is at 12 o'clock so that you can get a feel for the dynamics of the pedal. Honey Bee follows your playing dynamics and volume control changes just like a tube amp, even at the highest gain settings.
Nature: Tone control. At 7 o'clock you will have more bass and low mids. Towards 5 o'clock the focus moves to higher frequencies.
Vintage/Modern Switch: With this switch you can choose between two different circuits. Vintage gives you the sound of the original Honey Bee OD from 2002. Modern mode is the latest iteration of the pedal with small tweaks. - Power Requirements: 9-15V DC centre negative power supply or 9V battery. 3 mA.
