Darkglass Microtubes B3K gives you a brutal but clear bass overdrive sound. V2 version has a Tone knob instead of attack switch, which gives you a lot more control over high frequencies. Also, there is an additional Mid Boost button, which gives you +6 db boost for situations when you want to bring your bass more forward in the mix.
- Controls:
Level: Sets output volume level.
Drive: Sets the amount of saturation/overdrive.
Blend: Mixes clean signal into the fuzz signal. Clean sound always stays at unity gain, whereas the volume of the fuzz is determined by the Level control.
Tone: Adjusts high frequencies. A variable low pass filter from 3 kHz to 8 kHz.
Grunt Switch: Three-position switch that controls the amount of low frequencies going into the clipping section of the pedal.
Mid Boost: When you press this button down, you will get a +6 db boost from 300 Hz to 1 kHz. - Power requirements: 2.1mm 9V DC centre negative power supply. 20 mA.
