Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl HiFi gives you the sound of a warped
vinyl record. In addition to this you will get a myriad of chorus and
vibrato sounds. Warped Vinyl is an analog pedal with unprecedented
amount of control. Each control is attached to a microprocessor which
controls the analog effect circuitry. Your guitar signal will not be
digitized inside the pedal. Digital controls make it possible to have
features that have not been possible before with analog effects.
- Controls and connections:
Tone (Ramp): In basic settings this control acts a the tone control for the effect. When one or more dip switches behind the pedal are in the "On" position this control adjusts one or several of the following parameters: volume, mix, rpm, depth and warp. Each of these can be set to modulate, rise or fall.
Lag: Controls the delay between dry and wet signals and affects the intensity.
Mix: Sets the mix between the dry and the effected signal. Goes from 100% dry to 100% wet.
RPM: Sets the modulation speed. This control can be overriden with the tap tempo footswitch.
Depth: Controls the depth and width of modulation. Gets deeper towards 5 o'clock and goes over the top.
Ward: This control controls the modulation's middle part. At about 7 o'clock the modulation rises quickly and falls gradually. Towards 5 o'clock the rise is slower and the fall is quicker. At 12 o'clock you will get a perfectly symmetrical waveform.
1-2-4 (3-6-8) switch: Sets the tap tempo subdivision. Turning the tap tempo dip switch behind the pedal to "On" position you will get options 3-6-8. You can also set the tempo for RPM or Ramping features depending on how you have the dip switches set.
Left waveform switch: Sets the waveform for the first half of the modulation cycle. Options are sine, triangle and square.
Right waveform switch: Sets the waveform for the latter half of the modulation cycle. Options are sine, triangle and square.
Expression pedal / CV input: Volume, Mix, RPM Depth and Warp can be controlled with an expression pedal. 1/4" TRS input. Can also be controlled with 0-5V control voltage.
Tap/MIDI: Can be used as a tap input or output with a regular 1/4" instrument cable.
- Power Requirements: 2,1mm 9V DC centre negative power supply or 9V battery. 25 mA.
- True Bypass (very silent switch)
