Catalinbread Zero Point Flanger gives you an authentic 1960's tape flanger sound with through-zero effect that was made famous by The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix. Equipped with a very simple and musical user interface. Unlike other flangers, Zero Point is not based on controlling the LFO. The pedal has two delay lines inside with varying delay times that cause the through-zero effect.
Momentary switch: When you turn on the effect, you will hear a regular (but warmer than usual) flanger sound. Pressing the momentary footswitch activates the through-zero flanger effect and releasing the switch deactivates it. The process is as simple as the original way: pressing a finger on a tape and releasing it. Zero Point Flanger starts the through-zero effect at its most dramatic point by default (the point where the signal that was behind the leading signal passes it). When you keep the momentary switch pressed down when powering the pedal, it will go to another mode that has no phase cancellation. Both modes have their own benefits, we suggest you try which one you like better.
