Catalinbread Karma Suture gives you fuzz sounds that stay clear even with extreme settings, also when placed in front of a dirty amp. Karma Suture is a fuzz that works with all kinds of guitars and amps. Sound is achieved with a combination of NOS PNP germanium transistor, NPN silicon transistor, and both germanium and silicon diode. Based on a rare 1970's Harmonic Percolator fuzz.
- Controls:
Output: Sets output volume level.
Input: Sets the gain of the signal going into the pedal. Defines how hard the transistors and diodes are hit. More gain and compression towards 5 o'clock.
Diodes: Sets the amount of signal directed to the clipping diodes. At 7 o'clock the sound is very open. Towards 5 o'clock the sound gets more saturated and at the same time volume drops. You can compensate the lowered volume by raising the Output control.
Density: Controls the thickness. At 7 o'clock the sound is thin with low amount of bass. Towards 5 o'clock the sound gets fuller. - Power requirements: 2,1mm 9V DC centre negative power supply or 9V battery. About 10 mA.
