The Black Arts Toneworks Quantum Mystic Overdrive delivers an overdrive sound based on germanium-diodes. Additionally it offers an active, 3-Band EQ. This pedal was designed with input from Mike Scheidt, guitarist with the band 'Yob'.
- Controls:
Volume: adjusts the output's signal level.
Bass, Middle and Treble: the pedal's EQ-section. In active EQs, such as this, 12 o'clock means neutral (no boost/cut).
Gain: adjusts the amount of gain. The Quantum Mystic works based on an op- amp, with additional clipping provided by germanium-diodes. This combination results in tasty vintage-hued overdrive tones, with a very unique character. - Power requirements: 2.1mm 9V DC power supply (negative centre) or 9V battery. Approx. 10 mA.
