Digitech Whammy Ricochet gives you the most sounds of the bigger Whammy in a more pedalboard-friendly size. Scale +/-2 octaves, harmonies also available. Independent controls for harmony rise and return times. Polyfonic mode familiar from Whammy 5 is also present here.

  • Controls:
Pitch: Chooses the harmony mode. Options are: 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, Oct (octave up or down), 2 Oct (2 octaves up or down) ad Oct+dry (octave up or down plus dry signal).
Range Switch: Chooses if the harmony produced by the pedal is higher or lower than the original note.
Momentary Switch: Chooses momentary or latching mode for the footswitch. With the Momentary mode you can get closer to the functionality of the original Whammy. In momentary mode pressing the footswitch down and keeping it down activates the effect. When you release the switch, the sound goes back to regular. In Latching mode the pedal produces the harmony as long as the pedal is active and is bypassed when you turn the pedal off.
Ballistics: Two controls to set the rise and fall times for the harmony. Shift (inner control) controls the rise (or fall) time. Return (outer control) control the return speed back to regular note. From the Trajectory LED's you can see in real time if the effect is active and where in its rotation it is.
Classic and Chords modes: Whammy Ricochet is polyphonic when in Chords mode (which is factory default). In Classic mode the chords will cause the pedal to glitch, which can sound fun too. You can change between the modes by pressing the footswitch down for 3 seconds. Still pressing the switch down, turn the Range switch to down position and you will engage the Classic mode. When you want to go back to Chords mode, press the footswitch down again and turn the Range switch to up position.
  • Power Requirements: 9V DC centre negative power supply (not included). 235 mA.
  • True Bypass (in Latching mode) or buffered bypass (in Momentary mode).
  • Made in China
