The Black Arts Toneworks LSTR offers you Big Muff-type fuzz, but with far more versatile tone controls. There's even enough bottom-end on tap for use as a bass fuzz.
- Controls:
Volume: adjusts the output's signal level.
Fuzz: controls the amount of fuzz. At 5 o'clock you'll end up with a very furry, buzzing, saturated fuzz sound.
Tone and Scoop: the pedal's EQ-section. For a scooped sound turn the controls to face each other (Tone: 3 o'clock Scoop: 9 o'clock). For an open, natural sound turn the controls away from each other (Tone: 9 o'clock Scoop: 3 o'clock). - Power requirements: 2.1mm 9V DC power supply (negative centre) or 9V battery. Approx. 10 mA.
